As part of the “Madar” Program The Ministry of Community Empowerment Launches Training for First Cohort of Capable Social Welfare Beneficiaries

The Ministry of Community Empowerment has announced the launch of the training and development phase for the first cohort of social welfare beneficiaries participating in the Professional Empowerment Track of the “Madar” Social Empowerment Program for capable Social Welfare Beneficiaries.
The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council through the Nafis Program, and the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation. It aims to enhance beneficiaries’ job readiness and expand their access to employment opportunities that align with their capabilities and skills, thereby supporting family and economic stability.
The training workshop, conducted by the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation, was attended by 30 participants as part of the first phase at the Ministry’s Customer Happiness Center in Dubai. The workshop aims to economically empower participants and support their transition from recipients of social welfare to productive individuals who contribute to the UAE’s development, strengthening the stability of Emirati families and advancing the UAE’s commitment to sustainable development. 
The workshop featured a series of interactive sessions covering “Self-Awareness, Exploring Career Pathways, and Building Career Readiness” aimed at helping participants identify their abilities and potential, explore career options, and develop the skills needed to enter the labour market with confidence and competence. The workshop concluded with a session highlighting the key outcomes and next steps and responding to participants’ questions.
The “Madar” Program, which targets approximately 7,500 social welfare beneficiaries, seeks to develop a sustainable social protection and empowerment system through integrated empowerment tracks, including “Professional Empowerment” and “Empowerment for Emirati Families Entrepreneurs”, and “Financial Literacy” The program focuses on investing in people, building capabilities, creating opportunities, and promoting active participation in the labour market.
