Applying for Inflation Allowance

Temporary monthly allowances are provided to families with a monthly income of less than 25,000 AED, with the allowance amount adjusted to align with the emerging economic and social conditions in the country, aiming to meet the living needs and combat the rising costs of fuel, food, electricity, and water.

Inquiry Service

This service allows inquiries about the Ministry's services, initiatives and events, or inquiring about the status of the application for previously provided services, or any other inquiries that customers may have.

Suggestions Service

This service allows submitting any suggestions within the scope of the Ministry's services and initiatives to improve the quality of life and develop a better experience for its customers.

Complaints Service

This service allows submitting feedback or complaints about previous applications for the Ministry's services, procedures, processes, and programs, with the aim of improving service quality and providing a better experience for customers.

Social Welfare Application

The Social Welfare Program is a federal initiative that offers monthly financial assistance to Emirati families with limited income, aiming to strengthen their economic stability and empowerment. The program focuses on protecting the most vulnerable groups of the community, offering a comprehensive support system. It provides basic monthly allowances tailored to the needs of different family types, along with complementary allowances for families already receiving this support. It also offers a housing allowance for families who have not received government housing assistance, and an academic excellence allowance for university students, children or siblings of beneficiaries, who achieve outstanding academic performance. Eligibility for the program is based on specific social and economic criteria and is subject to defined conditions and regulations.

Issue a "To Whom It May Concern" Certificate Regarding Social Support

The Ministry issues a “To Whom It May Concern” letter upon request by individuals or entities, to verify whether the person in question is receiving social support from the Ministry. To access this service, it is required to create a personal profile through the official online platform.

Issuance of a "To Whom It May Concern" Certificate For banks and relevant authorities

Issuance of a "To Whom It May Concern" certificate to registered NPOs confirming their licensing and registration, for use with banks and relevant authorities to open or activate accounts, extend signing authority, or complete related official transactions.

Apply for an Extension of a Fundraising Permit

Enabling legal persons to have their fundraising permits extended ensuring the continued implementation of fundraising activities that support charitable, humanitarian, social, and developmental causes.

Request for Approval to Receive Foreign Donations

A service that allows registered non-profit organizations to request an official request for approval to receive donations from foreign entities outside the country, ensuring that all funding sources comply with the UAE laws and approved regulation

Apply for a License to Establish a Place of Worship for Non-Muslims

The Ministry of Community Empowerment enables individuals seeking to establish places of worship for non-Muslims in the country to submit a licensing application through the Ministry’s official website, in accordance with the provisions of the UAE Law No. (9) of 2023 on the Regulation of Places of Worship for Non-Muslims and its executive regulations.

Apply for Approval for Organisations to Participate in Activities and Events

Allowing organizations to participate in activities and events organized by organizations outside the UAE, Provided that the external organization’s goals must be consistent with those of the local organization and its social mission

Establishing Non-Profit Organizations in all their legal forms to acquire legal personality, enabling them to contribute by offering a range of initiatives and programs that create a sustainable positive social impact to serve individuals and the community.

A service that allows registered non-profit organizations to apply for opening branches within the UAE, aimed at expanding their activities and strengthening their social impact across all Emirates.

Enabling organizations to affiliate, engage or interact with any external organizations sharing similar objectives, ensuring all activities comply with UAE laws and regulations.

It is a government support program aimed at enhancing the quality of life for Emirati individuals and families with low income. The program provides new allowances to eligible beneficiaries, which include a range of supplements disbursed according to terms and conditions defined based on the social status.

Social Welfare Allowance Calculator

Social Welfare Allowance Calculator is a digital tool provided by the Ministry as part of the Social Welfare Program. It aims to enable beneficiaries to estimate the financial assistance they may be eligible to receive. The calculator considers several factors such as the number of family members, marital status, monthly income, and number of dependents to provide an approximate estimate of the amount a person may qualify for. This calculator serves as an initial step to help individuals understand their potential eligibility, but it does not constitute a final decision. To receive support, a formal application must be submitted and reviewed according to the approved terms and conditions.

At the Ministry of Community Empowerment, we are committed to supporting and empowering the NPO Sector through innovative initiatives and sustainable programs, recognizing its vital role in building a more prosperous and cohesive society.

971 From the Community

971 From the Community

An initiative launched by MOCE in 2009 and organized annually at its pavilion at the Global village to support and empower the Emirati family entrepreneurs. It serves as a dedicated marketing platform operating for six months each year. The initiative offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase and sell their products, foster their presence in the local market and key tourist destinations across the UAE. It contributes to advancing sustainable and economic empowerment goals by providing a dynamic and evolving platform that supports the growth and expansion of Emirati home-based businesses in alignment with the UAE’s vision to promote community-driven entrepreneurship.

Projects Acceptance Criteria

Applicants must be UAE citizens and 21 years old minimum. They must not run a business from any fixed location. Also, they must not have previously participated in the Global Village pavilions. Priority will be given to families benefiting from social welfare program, or their family members providing that they commit to attending the training and guidance workshops organized by the Ministry of Community Empowerment in collaboration with Global Village Management. Applicants must also comply with public health regulations and submit an accredited certification for cosmetic products or an activity permit, along with obtaining the necessary official approvals.
