Social Welfare Application

The Social Support and Empowerment Program is a federal initiative that offers monthly financial assistance to Emirati families with limited income, aiming to strengthen their economic stability and empowerment. The program focuses on protecting the most vulnerable groups of the community, offering a comprehensive support system. It provides basic monthly allowances tailored to the needs of different family types, along with complementary allowances for families already receiving this support. It also offers a housing allowance for families who have not received government housing assistance, and an academic excellence allowance for university students, children or siblings of beneficiaries, who achieve outstanding academic performance. Eligibility for the program is based on specific social and economic criteria and is subject to defined conditions and regulations.

Allowing associations to collect donations in support of charitable and humanitarian efforts, in accordance with the federal law on fundraising and its executive regulations.

Request for Publishing an Advertisement for Non-Governmental Family Counseling Centers

Granting approval to publish promotional advertisements for the services and programs provided by non-governmental family counseling centers, to ensure their alignment with the center's objectives, services, and programs.

Issue License For Non-Muslims Worship Place

Granting approval to individuals and institutions to establish places of worship, for the purpose of performing and practicing the rituals and worship of religions, sects, and beliefs, in accordance with the controls, conditions, and regulatory procedures established in the country.

Application for Renewal of Non-Governmental Persons with Disabilities Rehabilitation Institutions License "People of Determination"

Updating and renewing the application to continue practicing the activities and services of rehabilitation and care centers for people with disabilities “People of Determination” legally and regularly.

Application for Renewal of Non-Governmental Family Counseling Center License

It is a service to renew the license of non-governmental family counseling centers, ensuring the continued legal and regular operation of the center's activities and services.

Application for Licensing of Non-Governmental Persons with Disabilities Rehabilitation Institutions "People of Determination

Licensing of institutions to operate and provide services for persons with disabilities 'People of Determination'. These services include: - Early Intervention Services: Educational, therapeutic, supportive, and rehabilitative services for children from birth to 6 years of age with disabilities, developmental delays, or at risk of disability. - Integrated Service: An educational and therapeutic service with a system designated for persons with disabilities on a school attendance pattern for ages 4 to 18 years. - Vocational Rehabilitation Service: Specialized services in training, rehabilitation, employment, and follow-up for ages 16 to 35 years. - Life Skills Service: Training on specific skills commensurate with the nature and degree of disability. - Individual Rehabilitation Therapy Sessions Service: Speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, special education, behavior modification programs, psychological evaluation, and family counseling. - Psycho-educational Evaluation Service: A set of procedures and tests to evaluate intellectual and cognitive abilities to determine the appropriate educational needs.

Issuance of People of Determination Card

This service allows the issuance of a personal card that proves the holder is a person with disabilities 'People of Determination,' enabling them to benefit from services and facilities across various authorities and sectors nationwide."

Application for Participating in Mass Wedding

A social model rooted in the Emirati heritage for organizing mass weddings that are in line with the community’s authentic values and principles, reflecting solidarity and social cohesion to start a stable marital life and build strong and sustainable families.

Registration in disability care and rehabilitation centers for 'People of Determination' and early intervention centers and units

This service allows the registration of children with developmental delays, those at risk of disabilities, and individuals with disabilities "People of Determination" to join early intervention centers and units during early childhood. It also allows the registration of individuals with disabilities "People of Determination" in disability care and rehabilitation centers once they reach the age of 4, to receive a range of rehabilitative and educational services, in addition to support and guidance programs provided by a specialized team. This aims to empower them and their families to improve their skills, with the goal of integrating them into society and enhancing their quality of life.

Complaints Service

This service allows submitting feedback or complaints about previous applications for the Ministry's services, procedures, processes, and programs, with the aim of improving service quality and providing a better experience for customers.

Application for Licensing of Non-Governmental Family Counseling Centers

A service that can be applied for by individuals and companies to obtain a license to conduct activities related to family counseling and matchmaking services for those wishing to marry. The aim is to improve the quality of family life and ensure its stability and cohesion. These services include: Family and social counseling, Educational counseling, Therapeutic and training workshops and plans, Guidance and counseling for marriage applicants and Matchmaking for those wishing to marry.

Issue a "To Whom It May Concern" Certificate Regarding Social Support

The Ministry issues a “To Whom It May Concern” letter upon request by individuals or entities, to verify whether the person in question is receiving social support from the Ministry. To access this service, it is required to create a personal profile through the official online platform.

Non-Profit Organization Registration Application

Establishing Non-Profit Organizations in all their legal forms to acquire legal personality, enabling them to contribute by offering a range of initiatives and programs that create a sustainable positive social impact to serve individuals and the community.

This service allows inquiries about the Ministry's services, initiatives and events, or inquiring about the status of the application for previously provided services, or any other inquiries that customers may have.

A range of social services to build stable and cohesive families armed with knowledge and skills to build positive and sustainable marital relationships, in addition to a financial grant of seventy thousand dirhams, enabling couples to start a happy and stable life.

Social Welfare Allowance Calculator

is an online tool provided by the UAE government as part of the Social Support Program. It aims to enable citizens to estimate the financial assistance they may be eligible to receive. The calculator considers several factors such as the number of family members, marital status, monthly income, and number of dependents to provide an approximate estimate of the amount a person may qualify for. This calculator serves as an initial step to help individuals understand their potential eligibility, but it does not constitute a final decision. To receive support, a formal application must be submitted and reviewed according to the approved terms and conditions.

971 From the Community

971 From the Community

An initiative launched by MOCE in 2009 and organized annually at its pavilion at the Global village to support and empower the Emirati family entrepreneurs. It serves as a dedicated marketing platform operating for six months each year. The initiative offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase and sell their products, foster their presence in the local market and key tourist destinations across the UAE. It contributes to advancing sustainable and economic empowerment goals by providing a dynamic and evolving platform that supports the growth and expansion of Emirati home-based businesses in alignment with the UAE’s vision to promote community-driven entrepreneurship.

Projects Acceptance Criteria

Applicants must be UAE citizens and 21 years old minimum. They must not run a business from any fixed location. Also, they must not have previously participated in the Global Village pavilions. Priority will be given to families benefiting from social welfare program, or their family members providing that they commit to attending the training and guidance workshops organized by the Ministry of Community Empowerment in collaboration with Global Village Management. Applicants must also comply with public health regulations and submit an accredited certification for cosmetic products or an activity permit, along with obtaining the necessary official approvals.
