Ministry of Community Empowerment Participates in “Future Ready Social Care” Session During a Forum Hosted by Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi

As part of the Year of Community initiatives, and during the second edition of the Social Care Forum organized by the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi under the theme “Future Ready Social Care: People, Practice, and Policy” H.E. Noor Abulhoul, Acting Assistant Undersecretary Social Welfare and Empowerment Sector at the Ministry of Community Empowerment, participated in a session titled “Future Ready Social Care”

The session highlighted the Ministry’s efforts to empower individuals and support Emirati families through a range of programs and initiatives designed to enhance social and economic stability and foster community participation for a sustainable future. These efforts reflect the Ministry’s new strategy which focuses on empowering individuals, community, and the non-profit organisations.

The forum serves as a leading platform bringing together thought leaders, specialists, decision-makers, and local and international experts and innovators in the field of social care. It aims to explore mechanisms for advancing social care systems and addressing the evolving needs of communities across different life stages, while improving quality of life through three key pillars: empowering individuals, advancing professional practices, and reshaping social policies to meet future demands.

The forum featured interactive sessions and inspiring workshops that spotlighted the latest trends in social care—from employee well-being, youth empowerment, and family support to the role of advanced technologies in enhancing services.

The second edition of the forum builds on the success of the inaugural event held in 2024, which brought together more than 40 local and international speakers and resulted in significant recommendations. This year’s edition translates those recommendations into practical programs and in-depth sessions that contribute to transforming visions into tangible realities, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a regional and global hub for advancing social policies and practices that positively impact both individuals and society at large.
