The Ministry of Community Empowerment (MoCE) participates in the "Military Police Exhibition for Combating Drugs and Cybercrime 2026" held under the patronage of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of The National Anti-Narcotics Authority. The event is organized by The Ministry of Defence in Zayed Military City from 27 Jan- 4 Feb 2026. MoCE, in collaboration with non-profit organizations, will host a series of panel discussions featuring technical experts who will shed light on the dangers of drug abuse, prevention mechanisms, and the importance of raising awareness about cybercrime.
The Ministry’s participation is a testament of its strategic vision aiming at advancing national efforts in safeguarding society, while enforcing partnerships with various entities including non-profit organizations and translating this role into creating sustainable impact.

Diverse Activities
The panel discussions at the event address different topics, like the Juvenile Association at a session titled “The Conscious Decision among Youth: A Path to Prevent Risky Behaviours.” The session discusses a list of factors that affect the decision making of youth and how to build a mature way of thinking, helping them to avoid these dangerous behaviours, while highlighting the analytical skills, evaluation, and making the right decision, as well as the role of family, school, and digital content in formulating the youth awareness.
Emirates association for Lawyers and Legal participates in a session titled “Legal Responsibility: Protecting the Community from Cybercrime and Drugs.” The session addresses ways to avoid legal violations resulting from the misuse of technology, or involvement with prohibited substances, while increasing awareness about legal rights and responsibilities.

National Efforts

Aiming at empowering community members from dealing safely and responsibly with technology, given the increasing danger of cybercrime, “Hayat Post-Care Association” participates in two sessions. The first session, titled “Digital Protection: How to Protect Ourselves from Cybercrime,” highlights the role of family and specialized authorities in forcing responsible and conscious behaviour among different age groups, mainly the youth.

The second session, titled “From addiction to production: Success that make Impact,” spotlights inspiring stories from people who went through drug abuse, and the importance of economic empowerment in preventing them from returning to addiction, and how to deal with rehabilitation as an active member of the community.
The session "Robotics and Drone Security: Hidden Weaknesses in Intelligent Systems," featuring participants from "Robotics and Automation Society," aims to raise awareness of the security risks of automated systems and how to implement basic security procedures. The session also includes a live simulation of how to intercept an unencrypted video stream from a drone, as well as providing participants with a "security checklist" to help them secure their smart devices.
