Social Welfare Application

The Social Support and Empowerment Program is a federal program that provides monthly support to Emirati families with limited income, aimed at providing a social safety net, enhancing their stability and enabling their economic empowerment. The program focuses on protecting the most vulnerable groups and provides an integrated support system that includes specific monthly allowances determined according to different family categories, subject to eligibility conditions and criteria established based on the applicant's social and economic circumstances.

  • General Documents:

    • Emirates ID
    • Detailed salary certificate for the head of the household and wife(s)
    • Property documents for leased properties (such as lease contracts/ownership percentage) for the head of the household and wife(s)
    • Proof of commercial license income for the head of the household and wife(s)
    • Proof of continued university education or national service enrollment for children who are unemployed and aged between 20 and 24 years

    A child facing difficult living conditions:

    Child of a convicted person:

    • Court sentence or proof of detention for at least two months when issuing the proof.
    • A personal photo of the convicted person.
    • Termination of the convicted person's service or suspension of salary by their employer.

    Unknown parentage:

    • Guardian/custodian ID.
    • Custody/foster certificate.
    • Detailed salary certificate for the guardian and wife(s).
    • Property documents for leased properties (such as lease contracts/ownership percentage) for the guardian and wife(s).
    • Proof of commercial license income for the guardian and wife(s).

     Individuals with health disabilities:

    • A medical report not older than 6 months (medical reports from Cleveland Hospital are accepted).

    People of Determination:

    • A medical report not older than 6 months for the following cases (medical reports from Cleveland Hospital are accepted):
    • People of Determination (Employee/Retiree)
    • People of Determination (Child)
    • People of Determination (Unemployed)

    Unemployed individuals aged 25-44:

    • Termination of service certificate from a government or semi-government entity, specifying the reason for termination.

     Women facing difficult living conditions:

    • Abandoned:
    • Court ruling confirming abandonment.
    • IDs of the children in custody.

    Divorced:

    • Court proof of custody of at least one child under 4 years old or a child with disabilities "People of Determination" under 21 years old.
    • IDs of the children in custody.

    Wife of a convicted person:

    • Court sentence or proof of detention for at least two months when issuing the proof.
    • A personal photo of the convicted person.
    • Termination of the convicted person's service or suspension of salary by their employer.

    Wife of an incapacitated foreigner:

    • Husband’s ID.
    • Medical report for the incapacitated husband issued by a government hospital, not older than 6 months (medical reports from Cleveland Hospital are accepted).
    • Court sentence for the husband's imprisonment or proof of detention for at least two months when issuing the proof, or court-issued deportation ruling with proof of its execution.
    • IDs of the children in custody.
