The Ministry of Community Empowerment has recorded notable results and an proven social impact through its participation in the phase 2 of Zero Government Bureaucracy Program 2025. These achievements reflect the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to innovating service-delivery models that keep pace with rapid technological developments, streamlining procedures to enhance efficiency, and improving customer experience and satisfaction in line with the directives of the wise leadership to simplify people’s lives, strengthen government resilience, and support the national goals of We the UAE 2031 and the UAE Centennial 2071.

The outcomes of Zero Government Bureaucracy initiative covered all Ministry sectors, resulting in a reduction of 376 working days in service-processing time, the elimination of 292 procedural steps, a reduction of 106 required documents, the removal of 36 procedures, a decrease of 262 required fields, and the elimination of 28 conditions.

In line with its commitment to engaging beneficiaries and involving them in shaping services that meet their needs, the Ministry held 53 Customer Councils this year with 2,124 participants. A total of 97 service-improvement proposals were received and carefully assessed by specialized teams, of which 36, representing 37%, were implemented.

As part of its efforts to streamline government procedures, the Ministry focused on enhancing services within the Social Welfare & Empowerment Sector through the launch of an integrated digital platform for social welfare program services, as well as the development of the Unified National Platform for the Non-Profit Organizations Sector “NPO One Stop Shop”. These initiatives aim to enhance community engagement, provide advanced digital services, build a comprehensive knowledge-based data ecosystem, achieve greater integration of government data at the national level, support smart government strategies, and offer accurate insights for the work environment and scientific research.

The Ministry of Community Empowerment continues to advance its initiatives to fulfil the objectives of Zero Government Bureaucracy Program, guided by its vision to shift from care and development to empowerment. The Ministry seeks to achieve a transformational enhancement of its procedures by streamlining requirements, accelerating and simplifying service delivery, elevating service quality, and reducing burdens on all segments of society and stakeholders benefiting from its services.
