The Ministry of Community Empowerment Youth Council has launched the initiative “Gathering from the Heart of the Community,” bringing together the ministry ‘s young employees and a select group of ambitious and creative Emirati youth. The initiative aims to foster meaningful dialogue and shared ideas on the role of youth in shaping community policies and services, and to review proposals that empower young people to actively participate in building the future and advancing initiatives supporting the national development agenda.
This initiative aligns with the ministry’s strategic role and vision of establishing an empowered society whose members contribute to a prosperous future for the nation. It further reflects the ministry’s strong belief in the creativity and potential of youth, recognizing their pivotal role in driving empowerment efforts that shape both the present and the future.
During the meeting, the National Youth Agenda 2031 was reviewed, outlining the framework for youth empowerment across various sectors. The agenda envisions Emirati youth as pioneering local and global role models in thought and values, active contributors to economic and social development, technologically adept, enjoying optimal health, and embodying national responsibility with a positive global influence—setting an inspiring example worldwide.
Participants also discussed the Youth Council’s action plan, featuring innovative initiatives to promote innovation and enhance community engagement. The discussion highlighted the role of the UAE Youth Council for Entrepreneurship in fostering a thriving business environment, driving innovation, and nurturing youth entrepreneurship, thereby contributing to the UAE’s visionary goals.
Attendees commended the initiative as a testament to youth commitment to their leadership and country, affirming their role as key partners in shaping a prosperous and sustainable future for the UAE. This vision is in harmony with UAE Vision 2031, which aims to establish the world’s most prosperous society and develop a social empowerment framework that unlocks the potential of all community members, especially youth.
